FAQ

Questions, answered

What is a CRM?

Short for “customer relationship management”: somewhere to keep track of the people you work with. Most are built for sales teams. This one is built for people who look after their own clients and contacts.

Do I have to fill in forms?

No. You tell it what happened in a sentence or two, typed or spoken, and it works out the rest. There are no fields to fill in and no stages to move people through.

What if it gets something wrong?

It only saves quietly when it is confident. When it is not sure, it asks you in Review with one tap, and when what you said is unclear it saves nothing at all.

Does it read my email or calendar?

Not yet. Today it learns from what you tell it. Connecting email and calendar is planned, and will be something you choose to switch on.

Is my information private?

Yes. Only you can see what you record, and it only knows what you choose to tell it. It is built to keep facts, promises and questions, never character judgements or guesses about how someone feels. See the privacy policy.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes, in your phone’s browser, and you can add it to your home screen like an app. Speaking a note after a call is the quickest way to use it.

Can I bring in my existing contacts?

You don’t need to. Start with the people you are working with now; it builds up as you tell it about conversations.

Does it work with the other Meta-Me apps?

Yes. Your AI agent in Desk can record a conversation in the CRM for you, so a voice note on the walk home can land against the right person.

What does it cost?

It is part of a Meta-Me subscription: £8 a month, with a 30-day free trial, and it includes every Meta-Me app. See pricing.

Can I have my data deleted?

Yes. Get in touch through Meta-Me’s contact page and we will delete it.
